Our people are always available to talk about tree donations. The Mission of Give & Grow Hope is to spread hope and community through the gifting of fruit and nut trees. From elementary school to college, learning about fruit and nut trees provides students with life-long skills that they can take with them into their careers and their family life. The plants you’ve donated will greatly improve the level of education we can provide as it widens the plant materials which our students can utilize for learning experiences such as grafting, pruning and culture.ĭuring the February 27th NorCal Trade Show, we were happy to donate over 120 trees to school gardens throughout the area providing these gardens with sustainable learning tools that will grow to feed the community. We are unfunded by the college and have to earn our budget through the selling of plants. Like so many Junior College Horticulture programs here in the state of California, we struggle for every penny. …You graciously donated quite a large number of plants to us and for that we are truly grateful.
